Student Ministries

Xtreme Team & ROCK  Solid

Join us on Sunday mornings as we focus our thoughts on Christ while participating in an in-debt bible study and discussion.

Sunday nights we offer small groups for the youth of our church who have shown a genuine commitment in attendance and dedication to our church family with membership.

Wednesday nights is our large group setting where all our youth convene to learn how to get equipped to meet the challenges and issues they face each day with encouraging words from the Bible.

For more information about the Youth Ministry, contact Pastor Ron Tuman at 707-1487.

Students Purpose Statement

Our youth ministry exists to REACH non-believing students, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge the growing to DISCOVER their ministry and HONOR God with their life.

Outreach Events

Our youth host a number of events each year that are designed to reach out to the teens in our community.

  • An event for the high school youth of our community held after each home football game. Pizza, games, and music are provided in a safe environment in hopes of reaching the youth for Christ.

  • Sleepovers
A couple times a year, Student ministries hosts all night sleepovers that give the students a chance to invite their unchurched friends to come and spend some time on our campus. The evening includes pizza, snacks, movies, games and LOTS of fun.

  • Magic Mountain Trips
A day of coasters and fellowship.

  • "Battle of the Decades" - Car Show
In the spring of each year the youth of the church host a car show that is open to the public. This event is an opportunity for members of the community to visit our campus for a time of music, food, and great cars.

5th Quarter

This is an outreach event sponsored by the Student Ministries designed to reach out to our local High School students. This is the 7th year we have sponsored this event and we expect to reach out to 350 students during each event. This ministry has made a huge impact in our community and it even has been recognized by our city officials. In the Lemoore Advance, Noah Lawson wrote a letter to the editor. In his letter he shared his experience while he visited us. "The 5th Quarter is a perfect example of what school community partnerships can be all about." He also added, "Our community is made stronger because of this program." It's good to get recognition for the hard work you've done. It's better when the hard work makes the impact it was designed to do! I'm constantly meeting new people, talking to them about their church, their kids, their ministries and time after time a parent will share encouraging words with me. "My daughter loves going to that!" "I can't believe that a church would do that for our high school kids." And the best encouragement I've ever heard, "Thank you, thank your church and thank God, because I know my son is there, I went down and checked. He's not drinking. Thank you!" Success is not found in the leadership as much as its found in the labor they devote themselves to. We encourage you to think about, and pray about laboring for the teens in this community. God needs committed believers to believe in their community.
