Moms and Munchkins is a mother/child organized playgroup for children 0 to age 5.  This ministry is designed to meet the needs of moms with young children at home. We meet at 10:30 am on Mondays twice a month.  Each month, we try to meet for a play date at the church and have one field trip.  We plan fun activities to provide moms time to fellowship with other moms and opportunities to play with their little ones in Christian environments.  The kids love developing friendships with other children and the special time they get to play with their Mommies.

We are starting off our fall events with our annual fall kick off this Monday the 10th at 10:30 a.m. We will have bounce houses and pizza for the kids at SVCC.I hope you will all have a chance to participate in this event or one of our other upcoming events this fall.

 We will be having our first 2008 M&M get together on the 28th of Jan. We are meeting for a potluck lunch at 11:30 a.m. in the Children's Worship Center at SVCC. We hope you can make it.

Something else we would like to begin doing as a group is providing meals for those within our group who have had babies, medical issues, or would benefit from meals in their time of need.  If this is something you would like to be a part of please respond to this email or call any one of us.  What we'll do is when there is a need we'll send out an email to everyone who would like to participate and from there those able at that time can respond.  I can tell you first hand what a blessing it is to receive and to provide one. 

Even if you don't have a munchkin please take a schedule from the nursery or preschool rooms and invite someone you know would enjoy our playgroup.
