The South Valley Community Church Annual Harvest Fest continues to be a huge success. Children of all ages from the entire community gathered on the church grounds for a night filled with fun, game booths, bounce houses, food booths (which include hot dogs/chips/soda/popcorn/cotton candy), and LOTS of candy. This FREE event offers a positive and safe alternative to "trick-or-treating" and would not be a success if it weren't for the families and businesses of Lemoore and Hanford who donate their time, talents, decorations, lighting, all of the food items and, of course, CANDY.

We estimate that over 3000 people attended. We handed out 1840 bags of candy, 2000 hotdogs, 2200 cups of soda along with the coffee, popcorn, and cotton candy. At last count we had over 250 volunteers that helped out in one way or another to make this event another huge success. With that many people involved, we don't want to forget any names so please know that we truly are thankful to God for sending you to help us out!! You know who YOU are! We would also like to recognize the following businesses for their donations of good and/or services:
Save Mart, Starbucks, Frito Lay, Tim Reed Electrical and Larry Webb's Repair Service. We pray that God will bless you for you generous spirit and heart!!. Thank you for participating in our 5th annual Harvest Fest.
