Relay for Life 2008

The 2008 Relay For Life was another success. The event raised over $180,000 for the American Cancer Society. While this was not as good as last year's total, considering the current ecomonic climate, it was still impressive. The Lemoore Relay For Life is currently ranked #2 in the nation! (And with dontations still coming in, we may take FIRST) Not bad for our small town.

The SVCC family contribuited over $6000. We had 120+ volunteers that either walked and maned our tent during the event. We were the largest team at the event! I'd like to thank everyone for the time and effort put into making this year's event a success. It's always amazing to see what an impact we can have when we work together as a body of believers.
